Welcome to Dodge County, Nebraska.

Dodge County lies 35 miles northwest of Omaha, and is bordered by Douglas, Washington, Burt, Cumming, Colfax, and Saunders Counties. Dodge County has a population of around 35,500 people, and covers about 540 square miles. The county roads begin in the northwest corner of the county. Roads running north and south are numbered 1 through 31. Roads running east and west are lettered A through Y. Each section is one square mile.

Dodge county is located on the eastern side of the state. The county consists mainly of farm land. There is also river bottomlands around the Platte and Elkhorn rivers. The terrain is flat in the southern half of the county and is hilly in the northern half.

Dodge county has numerous attractions. The county fair is held in Scribner, the Old Settlers days in North Bend, and John C. Fremont Days in Fremont.
Dodge county is also home to the Fremont State Recreatinal Area, Dead Timber State Recreational Area, and Powderhorn Wildlife Management Area.
Other attractions include the Fremont dinner train, Nebraska Motorplex Raceway, and The Old Poor Farm.
